Word from the Principal - 23 August 2019

Theme for 2019 - Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart. Colossians 3:23 (Ko nga mea katoa e mea ai koutou mahia a ngakautia)

It is not long now until the Senior Exams. Please ensure students are familiar with the exam timetable.  Exams are held from 9 – 13 September. The timetable can be found  here  and on our website.

I am extremely proud of individual student achievements and team achievements.  We have seen success at WeBO (Wellington Band & Orchestra Festival) and team sports.  We are always keen to hear of individual successes from boys, whether in or outside of school.

A reminder of the Father & Son Breakfast coming up on Saturday 31 August. It is still not too late to register, however it is filling up fast. There are lots of fabulous goods available in the silent auction this year, including a fishing rod and reel, mobile phone and chocolate.  Come along and make a bid.

If your son is need of Orthodontic treatment, McIntosh Dental offer a scholarship.  Further information can be found here.

At the beginning and end of each school day, outside the school gates gets extremely busy.  Please be very conscious of students getting in and out of cars and crossing the roads on Edwards Avenue and Rathgar Road, especially when it is raining and visibility is poor. The school front entrance and roadway at the end of the day gets very busy and congested. In the interests of student safety, driving into the school between 3.00pm and 3.40pm is not permitted.

Every blessing, Chris Rooney
