Liston College PTFA is welcoming new members
The Liston College PTFA is a group of dedicated parents and teachers that meet monthly to arrange fundraising events for the college. The money raised throughout the year is used for the sole benefit of students and teachers. We provide support for various camps and courses attended by students, we also provide funding for sports and school resources.
To build on our success we rely on the support of parents and caregivers. We understand life is very busy and once children reach college age parents can't always provide the same amount of commitment when their children were younger. We totally get this, as most of us are in the same boat. This is why the Liston PTFA is run to accommodate our busy lives. We don't plan anything that is going to put undue stress on our members.
Help can be provided in many ways and doesn't require a huge amount of time. You can choose to attend every meeting, turn up when you can, or just help out at events. We are also looking out for people we can call on with skills such as builders/handy people, electricians, DJs etc. Also anyone with contacts in industries such as food & beverage, local venues etc.
If this sounds like something you would be interested, in we invite you to our next meeting via video call at 7.30pm on Monday, 21 March - we are a very friendly group of mum's AND dad's, we would love to see you there!
If you would like the meeting link, or to find out more in the meantime, please email [email protected] or call Sarah the Chairperson on 021 543 177.
