Message From The Principal 16.10.20
School Nurse: A reminder we have a school nurse, Joe Auimatagi. Joe is part of the Waitemata District Health Board scheme to provide this service to selected schools. If your son has a health issue and you would like the school nurse to see him, please contact him on email : [email protected]
Year 9 students: The school nurse is able to offer your son a free and confidential health assessment. This is part of a nationwide programme that involves the government putting nurses into Colleges around New Zealand top provide health assessments to all year 9 students. A consent form will be emailed to you. It is also available here.
Preliminary Exams: I urge our senior students to give their best to the upcoming Preliminary Exams. Because there is potential, however limited, that we the Covid alert levels may change, it may be necessary to use derived grades.
Cricket 1XI: All the best for the upcoming cricket season. The Liston 1XI play Orewa 1XI on Saturday at Liston. The game starts at 12.30pm.
Thank you to the many teachers who gave up their time during their term break to run tutorials or workshops. Thank you too, to the students who took advantage of this opportunity.
Reminder: Prizegiving this year is planned ‘with a difference’. Preparations are underway to have a digital version of prizegiving. You will be able to view a virtual prizegiving online in mid-November. We will let you know when this is live.
Every blessing to you and your family.
