You would have been proud of your sons today. Their participation and reverence in our Liston Day Mass at the Cathedral was testimony to their family and school values.
In the sermon Auxiliary Bishop Michael Gielen spoke strongly of the mission of Edmund Rice upon whose ethos Liston is founded upon. Edmund’s legacy of trust and generosity is a wonderful inspiration for a Catholic Boy's school.
And finally, we acknowledged three wonderful servant leaders of Liston College at the Mass in - former Principal Mr Chris Rooney, former Director of Pastoral Care Mr Rob McKenty and College Chaplain Fr Kevin Murphy. Today on National anti-bullying day, it was fitting to recognise the legacy of an inclusive and compassionate culture that these three men have been instrumental in forming inside of Liston College.
More photos will be on the website next week.
