Year 7 -13 Enviro Group students use their own time to care for our Maara Kai ( edible garden ).
This week they have continued the Autumn planting and are preparing the greenhouse for the growing of a Winter crop. They have collected materials to be recycled into a new garden space where students can sit among native trees.
This winter, the produce from the garden will continue to support our Soup Connection initiative and needy families. These, and other students, will lead every step of the way.
If you can assist our garden initiative with soil, compost, plants. seeds, trees, landscaping materials, funds, or expertise – please contact me.
