Liston College Senior 7s team participated in the Auckland Schools tournament last weekend, finishing third out of 18 participating schools.

Day one pool play led to Liston qualifying second as a result of wins over St Kentigern’s College and Massey High. The crossover semi-final saw us lose in extra time to De la Salle. This lead to the 3rd/4th play-off where Keanu Hughes scored three 60m individual tries, to take the team to a 47-17 win over Sacred Heart College. 

Players of the tournament were Keanu Hughes, Motu Pasikala, Josh Leo, Daniel Lawrence and Mitchell Veatupu.
