This is to inform you about a change to school buses that will be introduced on Monday, 13 November along with a number of changes to public buses in West Auckland. 

The S050 service connects West Harbour, Royal Heights, and Massey with the Waitakere schools around Henderson.   

AT currently offers one trip to the Waitakere schools in the morning and two trips from the schools in the afternoon.   

We will be adding an additional trip in the morning, starting from the top of Oreil Avenue. This will be scheduled just a couple of minutes earlier than the existing morning trip (which will continue to start from Hobsonville Road). The new additional trip will offer more capacity for students travelling on the busiest parts of this popular service. They will continue to follow their current route. 

There is no change to the afternoon S050 bus service.

Start Time: 7.41am.

Route Description: Oreil Avenue to Waitakere schools

Starts at Hobsonville Road/Oreil Avenue (stop 5662), and then travels along Oreil Ave, Moire Road, Granville Dr, Royal Rd, Makora Rd, Triangle Rd, Waimumu Rd, Don Buck Rd, Universal Dr, Rathgar Rd, left into Liston College grounds and serve stop 5992 Liston College Loop, exit grounds right to Edwards Ave, Rathgar Rd, Swanson Rd, Great North Rd, Railside Ave, View Rd, Lavelle Rd, Holy Cross School (stop 1638).
