The Pat Hanly Awards are held annually at the Auckland Art Gallery Toi O Tamaki, in partnership with AUT. As one of Tamaki Makaurau's longest-standing creative youth art awards, this event celebrates senior secondary | kura artists in an evening event that also acknowledges one of New Zealand's most prolific artists: Pat Hanly.

Students who are nominated have been chosen for their outstanding creativity, imagination, and commitment to the Visual Arts. Braiden was chosen for his photography/moving image work, whilst Levi was chosen for his Sculptural performative work.
