On Saturday 27th May, five of our senior students were commissioned as Vinnies Leaders for 2023; Ethan Matiseni, Luca Hickey, Sariesynn Fuiava, Cory Scherrer and Levi Smith.

The mass was held at the Cathedral and was a true celebration of student leadership across the Diocese. Vinnies is a youth branch of the Society of St Vincent de Paul. 

The Vinnies leaders attend regular meetings, events and fundraisers throughout the year with other student leaders from other Catholic secondary schools across Auckland.

At Liston,  our own school Vinnies group meets regularly at lunchtimes for fun, games and discussions around the work of the Vinnies group. Well done to the Liston students who attended the meetings this term.
