It has been wonderful to celebrate our 49th Liston Day today!
Your sons were excellent as we bussed into the Auckland Cathedral this morning for a special Liston Day Mass with Bishop Steve Lowe and then back to school for the annual “Liston day concert” where brave and budding students tested their talents in front of a full gymnasium.
The student reverence and respect shown at the Cathedral coupled with the joy and enthusiasm displayed at the concert made today a very special day and the boys deserve a big well done.
My thanks also to the Catholic Character, Concert and Music staff and senior students whose organisation contributed greatly to today’s success.
- Congratulations to our Sacramental Programme boys today who received their Baptism and Confirmation at the Cathedral this morning.
- Congratulations to our 1st V Basketball and 1st XI Football who remain unbeaten in their respective competitions.
- Please note the new driveway safety plan now in operation at the end of the school day. We thank you for your patience as we re-direct all moving vehicles away from any student pedestrians.
God bless
