Year 13 Retreats
Last week the NET organisation from Australia led our Year 13 retreats at Te Pai courts.
The Youth ministry team from Australia were very engaging and gave a fresh and new retreat experience to our year 13s. Our Year 13's thoroughly enjoyed the day and were very open and thoughtful during the prayer and reflection times. The NET team also acknowledged the respectful and responsive nature of our students. Well done to our Year 13's who were fine examples of the Liston Man.
This week Mr Swann, the school chaplaincy team along with the Prefects are preparing for the Easter Liturgies. This is the journey of the Stations of the Cross which schools and parishes perform to remind them of the events of Holy Week.
Last Wednesday we hosted the Young Vinnies leaders at Liston College. The group discussions were about the Young Vinnies programme for 2023 and the upcoming workshops and opportunities to help serve our wider community.
Our Liston students did our school proud with their answers and willingness to know more about becoming a Young Vinnie at Liston College.
We had over forty students in attendance from all year levels at this meeting during lunchtime. Well done – a great start for everyone!
