For the first time in 2 years we were able to enjoy a successful Wider Living Day at Long Bay on Monday 5th December. All the boys from Year 7 – 10 eagerly boarded the buses with great anticipation of an exciting day ahead.
Arriving at Long Bay, the boys had the chance to make the most of what the beach had to offer. Although the weather didn’t scream summer, it didn’t stop the boys from getting involved. From swimming, playing sports together, enjoying a sausage sizzle for lunch, building sand castles and relaxing with their friends, it was a day well spent after their first full year at school in a while. Fun was the theme for the day and it was safe to say everyone had a blast, teachers included.
Thank you to all our teachers who made the day possible, and to all the boys who embraced the opportunity to spend the day together as a junior school.
