Liston scored early on the left wing to great applause from the team’s supporters. The rest of the first half saw tries and penalties traded between the two teams. With Southern Cross edging in front during the second half the Liston team rallied together and with some busting runs by James Manuha’api and Daniel Lawrence the team went ahead on the scoreboard. 

The final score 46-27 in Liston’s favour was met by jubilation from the team and supporters. 

Tomorrow, Saturday 10th September they are back at Lloyd Elsmore Park for the U15 final against Botany Downs Secondary College. Kickoff is 11.30am, your support is welcome. We wish the team all the best.
