To members of staft, parents and caregivers who supported our students leading up and during their examinations. It was good to see the commitment and hard work put into their work by the boys as they stretched themselves to reach their goals.

Prize Giving
Thank you to everyone involved in our Prize Giving on Tuesday, 8th November - attended by Bishop Patrick Dunn DD and other speciaJ guests which included parents / caregivers who came along to help celebrate with us - it was a smooth rolling out of awards for excellence e.g. Nicholas Baird our Dux for 2011, Mr Rob McKenty was presented with the Frank Huckle Cup for 'Teacher of the Year' and the Edmund Rice Cup for 'Outstanding Contriblltion to the Life of the School 2011' went to Mr Willie Swann. Congratulations to you all and to the other students / teams that received awards that night. A very memorable evening of celebrations.

To the following students' families who won the Pak'n Save Grocery Vouchers which was drawn by Mr John Holley, Chairperson - Board of Trustees for 'Early Fee Payments:' Kuba Flejmer, Jett Osa, and Rupert Brocx.

Edwin De Laat has been selected to represent New Zealand under the flag of Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (RNZYS). The representation is an international Under 21 Regatta being held in Sydney starting on the 21 st November finishing on the 25th of November. Edwin is the youngest entrant in this event. What an achievement Edwin and congratulations.

Also, congratulations to Daniel Mau'u who has once again been selected for the Prime Minister's Youth Programme being hosted by The Village Charitable Trust for 2012. Well done Daniel!

Another success for Connor Etling (Year 9) is his selection to play in the North Island Under 17 team for Basketball Pacific at the Pacific Coast Slam in Port Macquarie, Australia, in January 2012. He was also selected as a non-travelling reserve for the NZ Koru Under 16 Development team to tour Albury (Australia) in January 2012. Keep it up Connor'
