Don't do anything from selfish ambition or from a cheap desire to boast, but be humble toward one another, always considering others better than yourselves. And look out for one another's interests, not just for your own.

Dear Parents and Caregivers

Prizegiving
Thank you to everyone involved in our Prizegiving held on Tuesday 3 November - attended by special guests which included parents/caregivers who came along to help celebrate with us. Congratulations to Maxim Haddad who is our Dux for 2015 and to Michael Hoffman, Proxime Accesit 2015. Mr Willie Swann was presented with the Frank Huckle Cup for 'Teacher of the Year 2015' and the Edmund Rice Cup for 'Outstanding Contribution to the Life of the School 2015' went to Mr Daniel Girven. Congratulations to you all and to the other students and teams who received awards on Tuesday. It was a very memorable evening of celebrations.

Mr John Carroll was acknowledged at the Prizegiving, for his 36 years at Liston College. A presentation was made to Mr Carroll by the Board of Trustees Chair, Mr Jason Mclennan.

Mr Peter Fuiava, Chair of the Old Boys' Society, presented two scholarships which the Old Boys will fund each year. I thank the Old Boys for their generous support of the College.

Exams
I would like to take this opportunity to encourage our students to study for their exams and to be prepared to make some sacrifices during the short time available. Please remember that teachers are willing to help the seniors during study leave. I wish all the students the very best for their upcoming exams and for a successful end of year.
