Dear Parents and Caregivers

Parent Teacher Evenings
Thank you to parents and caregivers who were able to meet the teachers to discuss the progress of your sons.  If you were unable to attend the interviews, please make contact with the appropriate teachers either by phone or email.  You can arrange to discuss your son's progress either in person, phone or email.  A list of teacher contact details is available on the Liston College App.

School Ball
The annual Liston-St Dominic's combined school ball was held int he first week of the term holidays at the Rendezvous Hotel.  It was another well organised evening in the tradition of both schools.  I thank Mr Forster for his organisation and the students for their mature conduct.  We make high demands of our students in terms of their behaviour at these events and it is pleasing that they always meet these standards.

The positive feedback from the staff of the hotel on their experience of our students is evidence that our students represent the College with pride.  Thank you for your role in setting this standard.

Tutoring
Thank you to the teachers who gave time over the school break for tutoring.  Tutoring is an on-going opportunity for students at lunchtime and after school.  Please encourage students to take advantage of this.

Several teachers are also offering tutoring for your son after school or on a Saturday. Keep an eye out for tutoring opportunities available.  These help your son to achieve well in NCEA exams.

Father and Son Breakfast
The Prefects are well underway with organising the Father and Son Breakfast.  If you or your business is able to help sponsor the breakfast or provide goods/services for the silent auction, please contact my P.A. Deirdre Auger.  We look forward to hearing Dillon Boucher from the NZ Breakers share with us.

Term Three
Term three is a busy term. Please do take note of all the events that are coming up, including : Exams, Concerts, Mass, Sports events and Work Day.

God bless you and your families.
