Be firm, be steadfast, always fully devoted to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labour is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Dear Parents and Caregivers

There are only three weeks left until the end of the second school term. How quickly the first half of the year has gone.  In Term Three, focus for the NCEA students will be on completing internals and preparing for external exams.

Tutoring Opportunities
A number of teachers of NCEA offer tutoring opportunities after school and during the term break. This is one of the reasons for our continuing outstanding NCEA results.  I would ask you to encourage your son to take advantage of these opportunities to assist with his learning and achievement.  I thank my staff who continue to give their time so willingly.

Monday Mass
Mondays at 1.10pm, Fr Kevin Murphy, our Chaplain, celebrates Mass in the College Chapel.  Students attend on a voluntary basis. Each week we have a near full chapel with both students and staff - and on occasion some parents. You are most welcome to join us on Mondays - just call in!

Father Son Breakfast
We are excited to announce that our 2016 guest speaker is Dillon Boucher, current General Manager of the Sky City NZ Breakers and former NZ Basketball representative.  Do save the date, Saturday 10 September, to attend the event. Further details will be available next term.

Liston College Old Boys
The Old Boys' Society are running a Quiz Night on Saturday 23 July. This year it will be held at the West Harbour Tennis Club. Details of the evening are included in this newsletter.

God bless you and your families.
