Dear Parents and Caregivers
Student Safety
The school front entrance and road way at the end of the day gets very busy and congested. In the interest of student safety, driving into the school between 3.00pm and 3.30pm is not permitted. I ask that this is respected.
Liston Day
We had our annual Liston Day celebrations on Friday 20 May, with Bishop Pat giving the Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation to a number of students. Thank you to Mrs Skelton and Fr. Kevin for helping prepare all of the candidates for the Sacraments. In the afternoon we were entertained by various acts from the students who displayed an amazing range of talent. Thanks to Mr Worth who co-ordinated the programme and to Jun Kim and Joshua Fernandes who were fabulous MCs. Thanks also to Jacques Maitland and the senior students who produced the show.
Progress Reports
The next progress report will be available shortly. While there will not be another Parent/Teacher interview until early next term, I would encourage you to contact your son's teachers if you have any questions or concerns regarding the report. I suggest you use email for this purpose. Email contacts are available via the school App or call the College office (09 838 9350) and you will be given the appropriate information.
Board of Trustees Elections
As we had five vacancies on the Board and five nominations, there was no election held. The five nominees were duly elected. Refer to the notice below. Congratulations to our newly elected Board. They take office as from 10 June 2016.
God bless you and your families.
