Dear Parents and Caregivers
This year has seen the biggest intake of Year 7 boys for a number of years. Due to the number of enrolments we now have five Year 7 classes. This ensures class sizes are kept as low as possible. Due to the full roll, we now have a wait-list for new students. It is important to let family and friends who are looking at sending their son to Liston next year (2017), know that they need to get their enrolment application into the school early. Enrolment interviews take place from Term 2.
Open Evening
We have our Open Evening coming up on Wednesday 23 March, from 7pm until 9pm. Please let family and friends who are interested in sending their sons to Liston know about this evening. St Dominics' College have their Open Evening on Tuesday 22 March from 6.30pm until 9pm. Please note: School closes at 12.10pm on the Wednesday, in preparation for the Open Evening.
Board of Trustees Elections
Please give thought to putting your name forward to be a member of the Board of Trustees. The election takes place in June, with nomination opening in April. For information about being a member of the Board, go to the School Trustee website : CLICK HERE.
Gala
Thank you to everyone who has dropped in goods for the White Elephant Stall at the Gala. Goods can still be delivered to the school office or on Saturday 12 March from 10am until midday. On Friday 18 March there will be a Mufti day for all boys, $4 - or bring baked goods for the Gala.
