Dear Parents and Caregivers

Parent Teacher Evenings 
You will shortly be receiving your son's report. Please refer to the information included with the report and in this newsletter which explains how to book a time to meet with your son's teachers on either Wednesday 22 July or Thursday 23 July. I look forward to meeting you there.

Scholarships
There are a number of scholarships available to Year 13 students who will be studying at tertiary institutions next year. If your son is in Year 13 encourage him to check the information from Mr McKenty who is co-ordinating the application process. Some of these scholarships are worth significant sums of money and go a long way to paying tuition fees.

Retreats
This week, Year 11 and Year 12 students had the opportunity to attend their annual retreat run by the LOGOS team. The students entered into the spirit of these days very well. These are an important part of College life. Thank you to the College staff who assisted. 

Holiday Tutoring Programme
A number of teachers of NCEA are offering tutoring opportunities during the term break. This is one of the reasons for continuing outstanding NCEA results. I would ask you to encourage your son to take advantage of this opportunity to assist with his learning and achievement. I thank my staff who are prepared to give their time so willingly.
